Use the transcript to compare a generated note with the recorded conversation.
Open the transcript on the web
Open the visit after transcription.
In a desktop-sized browser window, select Transcript in the top bar. On a narrow screen, open More actions (the three-dot button) and choose Transcript.
Read the timestamped passages. If the visit contains more than one recording, each recording has its own section.
The transcript opens beside the note on larger screens and as a full-screen panel on smaller screens. Use Close transcript to close it. The transcript control requires a recording and is unavailable while recording is in progress.
Turn on citations
Open your profile/workspace menu and choose Account settings.
Under Preferences, find the Transcription section and turn on Citations.
Open a note that contains citations and select a linked phrase. Medical Scribe opens the transcript and highlights the referenced segment when a matching timestamp is available.
Citations help you find source passages to review. Check the surrounding conversation as well as the highlighted passage; a note may contain phrases without citations.
On iOS
Open the visit and select the Transcript tab. This tab appears when transcript segments are available.
If no transcript appears
A recording can show No transcript available if it has no transcript segments. Check the visit’s processing status before relying on its note. Audio playback is shown only when the recording’s audio is available.
