Ask AI to revise a note

Use the web note editor to request wording or structure changes, review the result, and undo a recent change.

You can ask Medical Scribe to revise the generated note you have open in the web app.

Select the note, edit its text directly, or use Ask for changes.

Select the note, edit its text directly, or use Ask for changes.

Request a change

  1. Open the visit and select the document tab you want to edit. Wait for the note to finish generating.

  2. In Ask for changes at the bottom of the note, describe the change and send your request. For example: “Make the assessment more concise while keeping the clinical details.”

  3. Wait for the response and review the updated note. A completed AI revision is applied to the note and saved automatically.

  4. If you need another adjustment, send a follow-up request. If you collapsed the conversation, use Resume editing.

Each document tab has its own AI conversation. Check that the correct document is selected before sending a request.

Undo a recent change

On a desktop-sized browser window, use Undo in the top bar to undo a recent manual or AI edit. Use Redo to reapply an undone change. These controls work with the currently open editor, so review and undo changes before switching documents or leaving the page.

If the editor is unavailable

  • Wait until the note has finished generating.

  • Finish recording before asking for changes. The recorder replaces the AI input while recording.

  • AI editing is unavailable when your free visit allowance is exhausted.

Review the full note for accuracy and completeness before using it in a clinical record.
