Add more audio to an existing visit

Resume a visit, upload the additional recording, and review the regenerated note.

You can add another recording to an existing visit. This is useful when you have more information to capture after a note has already been generated.

Choose Resume to add more audio to the visit.

Choose Resume to add more audio to the visit.

Before you continue: adding audio can update the generated notes. Keep a copy of any wording you need to retain, and plan to review the updated documents afterward.

Continue the visit

  1. Open the existing visit from the visit list. Check the patient and visit date so you add audio to the correct visit.

  2. Wait for any current upload or note generation to finish.

  3. Select Resume in the bar at the bottom of the visit.

  4. Record the additional information. Use Pause recording and Resume recording if you need a break.

  5. Select Complete Visit when you have finished. On a narrow screen, this control may appear as a checkmark.

  6. Wait for the additional recording to upload and for the updated notes to finish processing.

  7. Review each document you plan to use. Check that the new information is included and recheck any corrections you made before resuming.

If Resume is unavailable

The Resume control is hidden while an upload or note generation is in progress. If you see Retry upload, finish recovering that upload before adding more audio.

If the visit continues to show a processing or upload status, use Help Desk to report the visible status, approximate recording time, and your browser.

If you want to stop without adding the new recording

Use Cancel only when you want to discard the recording currently in progress. Use Pause when you intend to continue, and Complete Visit when you want to keep it.
